How This Committee Fulfills MPA’s Mission

  • Advocate against disparities that limit access to behavioral health care.
  • Promote evidence‑based treatments and models of integrated care delivery.
  • Provide education for providers and the public that supports healthier practices.
  • Strengthen connectivity and visibility of integrated/health psychologists across Michigan.

Current Priorities

  • Grow the statewide network of integrated/health psychologists (including trainees).
  • Offer regular education and community‑building opportunities focused on integrated care.
  • Support fair reimbursement and practical implementation of health behavior codes.
