How This Committee Fulfills MPA’s Mission
- Advocate against disparities that limit access to behavioral health care.
- Promote evidence‑based treatments and models of integrated care delivery.
- Provide education for providers and the public that supports healthier practices.
- Strengthen connectivity and visibility of integrated/health psychologists across Michigan.
Current Priorities
- Grow the statewide network of integrated/health psychologists (including trainees).
- Offer regular education and community‑building opportunities focused on integrated care.
- Support fair reimbursement and practical implementation of health behavior codes.
