  • Doctoral Level Psychologists (10+ years from graduation) = $260

Sustaining Member: MPA members looking to help MPA thrive and continue the work of MPA can choose to become Sustaining Members. Sustaining Members have chosen to pay additional money to help MPA continue with its mission. The fee to be a Sustaining Member is $500/year. Sustaining Members shall each be entitled to one vote at any vote put to the membership.  

Doctorate Level Member: Member must have completed and been awarded a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution, as well as fulfilling all other requirements of membership in the Association. Doctoral Level Members shall each be entitled to one vote at any vote put to the membership.

  • The Doctorate Level Member type is subdivided into two categories: Early Career Psychologist (<10 years from graduation) and Mid/Late Career Psychologist (10+ years from graduation).  MPA made this change to stay consistent with the American Psychological Association membership categories. 

Masters Level Member: Member must have completed and been awarded a Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited institution, as well as fulfilling all other requirements of membership in the Association. Masters Level Members shall each be entitled to one vote at any vote put to the membership.  

Graduate Student Member: Member must be an active graduate student studying Psychology at an institution deemed suitable by the board, as well as fulfilling all other requirements of membership in the Association. Graduate Student Members shall each be entitled to one vote at any vote put to the membership.

Emeritus-Retired Member: Member must be retired from active practice of Psychology, must be an MPA member in good standing for 10 years, and then may apply for Emeritus membership status. Member must also fulfill all other requirements of membership in the Association.  Emeritus-Retired Members shall each be entitled to one vote at any vote put to the membership.
