 As part of our partnership with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, we are pleased to offer Michigan Psychological Association members and affiliates discounted access to the upcoming webinar Compassion Fatigue Resilience: Taking Care of Yourself While Caring About Others.

Dr. Schwanz will teach participants about compassion fatigue (CF), including signs and symptoms as well as risk factors. She will describe compassion satisfaction and self-care as important tools for preventing CF and for mitigating its negative effects. Dr. Schwanz will identify skills and practices for building compassion fatigue resilience (CFR) and will present a preview of a proposed online intervention for CFR called “ME FIRST.”
