Learning objectives:

  • Participants will be able to list the five key principles to be able to do effective therapy with men.
  • Participants will be able to describe five ways that doing therapy with men is different than doing therapy with women.
  • Participants will be able to describe and explain the shame/anger cycle in men

Dr. Pasick has been a practicing psychologist since 1975 when he received his PhD from Harvard. He is the author of 10 books on the topics of men in therapy, pets in the family, and coaching through self-awareness and emotional intelligence. He was a member of the Ann Arbor Center for the Family for over 20 years and is currently a lecturer at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
